Most of us do not know why, but these ads are real ads placed by Google on these sites and known as Google Ads. This tool actually has a name, it’s called Reminder ads, and its function is to remind you of something you’ve seen before, but you have not decided to buy it clearly. The way this tool works is very simple. Go to the site that supports Google ads, watch a product, and choose not to buy it, so the site will intensify ads for this product even as you browse other sites that support Google ads.
However, this can be very annoying in many cases, so Google now understands that this may not be desirable for everyone, so it will allow you to turn off this feature.
If you want to turn this feature off, Google has provided a list of helpful instructions to stop it with simple steps:
- Log in to your Google account.
- Go to Ads Settings.
- Look for the phrase “Your reminder ads.”
- Press X corresponding to the advertiser whose ads you want to stop.
But there is another observation, that this will not last forever, this will continue for only 90 days. But, according to Google, most ads do not last more than 90 days anyway.
The point is also that you can not stop them all at the same time, but you will have to open them all and stop them separately.
